On October 18, 2021, the founding meeting of the Quality and Safety Working Committee and Group Standards Technical Committee of the China Feed Industry Association and the 2021 National Feed Industry Association President and Secretary-General Symposium were grandly held in Qingdao, Shandong! Twelve group standard projects including "Environmentally Friendly Compound Feed for Pregnant Sows" meet the project approval requirements and will be approved as the first batch of group standards of the China Feed Industry Association in 2021. The conference also announced the establishment of the China Feed Industry Association Group Standards Technical Committee and reviewed and approved the China Feed Industry Association Group Standards Management Measures.

Dong Aihua, technical director of Atech, was elected as a member of the Group Standards Technical Committee of the China Feed Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the Feed Standardization Committee) and attended this conference on behalf of Atech.

“The issuance and implementation of standardization work guidelines, as well as the enhancement of standards awareness among enterprises and the general public, urgently require the orderly promotion of the introduction of some standards based on the platform of group standards, mainly including feed and feed additive product standards, quality and safety indicators and processing quality indicators." said Li Jun, member of the Group Standards Technical Committee of the China Feed Industry Association and researcher at the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

At this conference, the list of members of the Quality and Safety Working Committee and the Group Standards Technical Committee of the China Feed Industry Association was announced, and certificates were issued to the representatives of the members.

It is reported that the work responsibilities of the Feed Standard Committee include the construction of the association's group standard system, proposing or approving group standard project plans, guiding the formulation and revision of group standards, and organizing the review and approval of group standards. The establishment of the Feed Standardization Committee is a new breakthrough in the standardization practice of China's feed industry. It will build a new platform for the joint governance of China's feed industry groups. It will also provide new opportunities for the better development of feed industry group standardization.
A symposium was held in the Haitang Hall in the afternoon. The presidents and secretaries-general of each provincial association exchanged information on the situation of the provincial associations and conducted a simple analysis of the production situation in the first three quarters of this year, especially the impact of the Covid 19, power cuts, etc. on the feed industry, focused on providing opinions and suggestions on the work of China Feed Industry Association, and providing suggestions and suggestions on strengthening cooperation between the national association and provincial associations to form a synergy and better serve the industry and members.
